Tis The Season For Music To Uplift And Renew

The Alpha Christmas Festival in Kingston welcomes a special guest performance by the Young Jamaica Ensemble of Sam Sharpe Teachers' College in Montego Bay.

This year, the Alpha School of Music Christmas Festival co sponsored by Jamaica Nice. carries special meaning as the performance welcomes musicians from western Jamaica where music education and performance have been severely affected.

“The Christmas Festival has always been about joy, community and the power of music to bring people together,” said Margaret Little Wilson, Alpha’s Administrator. “This year, it’s even more significant as we try to uplift the spirits of friends and family affected by Hurricane Melissa.”
