Alpha Community Music

Alpha Community Music is an initiative to strengthen music education in primary and high schools.

Many public schools in Jamaica lack instrument and ensemble training due to a shortage of qualified music teachers, particularly in brass and woodwind. Students who pursue music after high school often reach the tertiary level without the performance and music literacy skills they need.

Jamaica Nice. is proud to support the students at Mount Airy Primary School. Learn more about the primary programme from the lead instructor, Dr Jason Sulliman.
